Downloading Acrobat Reader

Some of the free downloads available on our site are in PDF (Portable Document Format), which require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Reader comes pre-installed on most new PCs and Macs, but if you need a copy, it is available for downloading (free!) from the Adobe web site. The site supplies easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for downloading.

Problems Downloading PDFs from Brookes

If you have Reader installed on your computer, but you still can't access the file you are trying to download, there may be a version compatibility problem. (Unfortunately, PDFs created with newer versions of Reader can't always be read by older versions.)

Please e-mail webmaster@brookespublishing.com about the problem and let us know your version of Reader, and we'll do our best to get you a copy of the document you can read.
