Susan Lowell, M.A.
Susan Lowell, M.A., B.C.E.T., is the founding director of Educational Therapy Associates, a private clinical practice in Chapel Hill, NC, providing educational evaluations, consultations, and advocacy for students and adults with learning difficulties. She is a board certified educational therapist, specializing in diagnosis and remediation of reading difficulties. Ms. Lowell also consults on a grant funded research project for Duke University as a reading and literacy consultant. She serves on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and as a member of the advisors to the Board of Directors of the Office of Overseas Schools for the U.S. Department of State. In addition to maintaining a private clinical practice, Ms. Lowell presents seminars and workshops on research-based components of reading instruction and assessment of reading difficulties in the United States and overseas. |
