Esther Minskoff, Ph.D.
Esther Minskoff, Ph.D., is Professor Emerita of Special Education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in special education at James Madison University and served as Project Director for two federally funded grants Steppingstones of Technology Innovations and a Model Demonstration Postsecondary Education Project. She has published extensively in journals and is author of Teaching Reading to Struggling Learners (Paul H. Brookes Publishing Co., 2005) and co-author of both Academic Success Strategies for Adolescents with Learning Disabilities and ADHD (written with David Allsopp, Paul H. Brookes Publishing Co., 2003) and Phonic Remedial Reading Lessons (written with Samuel A. Kirk & Winifred D. Kirk, Academic Therapy Publications, 1985). Dr. Minskoff served as President of the Division for Learning Disabilities of the Council for Exceptional Children and was a member of the Professional Advisory Board of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. |
